July 31, 2007 - We went up to Morgan Hill the last weekend
of July to celebrate Grandma Mok's birthday. Then Alana and Tyler stayed for a
little while longer since Bill had to fly out of town on a business trip. This
gave them a chance to visit the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk where Alana used to
go when she was a child. At first Tyler didn't want to try any of the rides,
but after hanging out for a little bit, having dinner, and seeing Mom go on the
rides by herself he decided it was OK. He even went on the kiddie roller
coaster. Alana had to ask him twice if he really wanted to go on it because he
didn't like the last one he rode at Disneyland. The picture at the bottom of
page 2 speaks mountains about his reaction to the ride.

He wasn't as thrilled about the cars as we thought he would be. Maybe because he wasn't sitting in front?? |

OK, to reiterate. We did not force him to go on the Sea Serpent roller coaster. And yes, his pants were dry when we got off of the ride. |
